Special Issue Information

Intelligent and sustainable manufacturing combines smart technologies with eco-friendly practices to make production more efficient and responsible. Using tools like artificial intelligence, sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT), manufacturers can track processes in real time, reduce breakdowns, and improve quality. At the same time, sustainable methods focus on saving energy, cutting waste, and reusing materials to lower the impact on the environment. Together, these approaches help industries work smarter, reduce costs, and support a cleaner and greener future.

The primary objective of this special issue is to serve as a dedicated platform for presenting innovative research in the rapidly advancing fields of intelligent and sustainable manufacturing. It will provide significant value to researchers, scientists, and industry professionals by offering insights into the latest developments and highlighting pathways toward next-generation solutions. Furthermore, the special issue is designed to be interdisciplinary, encompassing diverse scientific areas that connect fundamental studies with industrial applications and technology transfer, thereby fostering progress toward smarter, more sustainable, and future-ready manufacturing practices.

This special issue welcomes the submission of full research papers in the relevant areas (but not limited to) mentioned below:

· Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven manufacturing
